  • Miki Balin, President and Founder

    Mr. Balin is the President and Founder of WinBuyer. WinBuyer evolved from Conversion Methods, an e-commerce startup he founded in 2004. Mr. Balin has devoted much of his career managing marketing-related ventures. Prior to establishing Conversion Methods and WinBuyer, he founded Balin, Adatto & Cohen, a leading health care consulting and advertising firm in Israel. He also managed a family-owned food distribution company, and served as general manager of the Rina Shinfeld Ballet Theatre where he still serves as a director today.

  • Alon Weinberg, Founder & Vice President of Research & Development

    Mr. Weinberg has garnered over 20 years of experience in research and development (R&D), 10 of which are in managerial positions. He joined Conversion Methods, which evolved into WinBuyer, as Vice President, R&D in 2005 where he developed the core technology behind WindBuyer and is responsible for ongoing development. Prior to that, Mr. Weinberg served as CTO and Vice President, R&D at Contega, Inc., a developer of a sophisticated GPS tracking system. Before joining Contega, he served as MIS Director for myZebra.com, a California-based e-commerce startup. He also worked as Development and Infrastructure Manager for MM Telcom, a New York-based telephony company specializing in international voice, data conferencing and Internet calling services.

    Mr. Weinberg served in the Israeli Defense Forces and the Ministry of Defense in a variety of positions. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, cum laude, from Queens College in New York.

  • Daniel Yelin, Chief Financial Officer

    Mr Yelin has more than fifteen years management experience with publicly traded and private organizations. Before joining WinBuyer Daniel was the General Manager of “ooVoo Israel’ from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, he served as Arel Communications & Sofware (ALRC Nasdaq) CFO since 2002, and was part of the founding management team transferring Arel into ooVoo. Prior to joining Arel, he served as SVP of US operations for Sphera Corp , a venture funded enterprise software company for the Data Hosting industry.

  • Eyal Keren , Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

    Mr. Keren is a highly effective and results-driven marketing and business development executive with extensive experience in the technology space and specific expertise in growing Internet ventures.

    Within WinBuyer, Mr. Keren is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy, managing SMB sales operations and leading strategic partnerships with search and affiliate partners . Prior to joining WinBuyer, Mr. Keren was the VP Business Development at Pudding Media an ad network solution provider . Before that, Mr. Keren was the Head of Business Development at A9.com, an Amazon.com company responsible for managing strategic partnerships for Amazon search and advertising businesses.

    Previously, as an investment professional at Pitango Venture Capital, Mr. Keren led investment analysis and execution, and represented the fund in support of portfolio companies. Mr Keren also served in marketing management and strategic planning roles at IBM.

    Mr. Keren holds an M.S degree in Information Systems, University of Rochester in New York, an M.B.A and a B.A in Economics from Tel Aviv University in Israel.

  • Ron Guy , Senior Director of Site Operations

    Mr. Guy currently manages the winbuyer.com site and it’s subsidiaries which see over 2.5 million unique visitors every month. Since joining WinBuyer in 2006, Ron has developed WinBuyer’s online traffic trading pricing models, managed traffic purchasing strategies and directed quality of traffic analyses.

    Prior to WinBuyer, Mr. Guy developed business plans and managed special projects for businesses across a range of industries including real estate, finance, and entertainment.

  • Onn Manelson , Senior Director of Operations

    Onn brings over 10 years experience in online operations, project management and customer management. Prior to joining WinBuyer, Onn held senior management roles at Mercury Interactive (purchased by HP), the world leader in online business monitoring and optimization and Celebros Ltd, a leader in AI search and navigation solutions. Onn became Director of Operations at Celebros and established the company's ASP service solutions with over 200 devices spread worldwide. Onn holds a B.Sc in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University.

  • Rob Staunton , Managing Director, UK

    Rob Staunton manages WinBuyer’s sales operations within the UK. He has been involved in the online price comparison sector for over 8 years; as Head of Sales at Dealtime.co.uk (now Shopping.com), a position he was promoted to after only three years. From Shopping.com, Rob took over the Head of E-Commerce role at Ciao.co.uk, a consumer review and price comparison website. Most recently, prior to joining WinBuyer, Rob was UK Managing Director at Pangora, a b2b and b2c shopping solutions provider where he worked with major UK merchants and closed key UK partner deals such as Yell.com and moneysupermarket.com.

  • Chance Lipsky , Director of Sales, US

    Mr. Lipsky is responsible for the development and execution of WinBuyer’s strategy for penetrating the Mid-Market and Enterprise online retailer sectors worldwide.

    Mr. Lipsky has gained extensive experience in Sales, particularly in the retail and manufacturer space. Prior to joining WinBuyer, Mr. Lipsky was the National Sales Manager for Continental Promotion Group (CPG), a promotional fulfillment company specializing in mail-in rebates, cash back rewards, gift cards, and stored value VISA cards. While in this position, Mr. Lipsky was responsible for bringing in over 140 new retailers, manufacturers, and service providers generating millions in revenue. Prior to working at CPG, Mr. Lipsky was a Business Product Specialist at Sentry Insurance, where he specialized in commercial property and liability insurance.

  • Avichay Nissenbaum ,Chairman of the Board

    Avichay, Chairman of the Board at WinBuyer, has over 20 years of international experience in the software and internet industries, in conjunction with leadership positions in management, sales, business development, marketing, and operations. He is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Yedda, Inc. an AOL company, and a vice president at AOL. Prior to Yedda, Avichay co-Founded SmarTeam (Acquired by Dassault Systemes NASDAQ:DASTY). In addition to his position on WinBuyer’s Board of Directors, Nissenbaum serves as a board member for Incredimail (NASDAQ: MAIL), and advises and helps several startups and entrepreneurs.

  • Isaac Hillel

    Mr. Isaac Hillel has extensive experience in international general management in the IT industry, with strong knowledge of the European marketplace. Prior to joining Pitango in early 2000, Mr. Hillel served as an Executive Vice President at NEC Computers International (previously Packard Bell NEC) (“NEC”), in charge of the Computer Divisions in Europe, Middle East and Africa. During his tenure at NEC, he established the operation in Europe, set up subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities across Europe, managed mergers and joint ventures, and led the company to become the leading brand in the computer market with over $1.5 billion in sales.

    He also served as a Board member of nine subsidiaries of NEC, a member of NEC’s Executive Committee, and Chairman of its Worldwide Internet Strategy Committee. Mr. Hillel previously held several marketing positions with consumer electronics maker Casio PhoneMate. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

    Mr. Hillel currently serves on the Board of Directors of: AeroScout, Celeno Communications, Discretix, E4X and Techtium.

    Jim Flach has held a wide range of positions in the communications and software industries in which he has worked for over thirty years.

    A partner with Accel for ten years, he was formerly Chairman of Agile Networks (Lucent), Netlink (Cabletron), Sentient Networks (Cisco), Teleos Communications (Madge Networks), and Vivo Software. Jim has served as CEO of Terraspring, Teleos, Bandwidth9, Hybrid Networks, Redback Networks, and Sentient Networks. He also serves on the board of Bandwidth9, CenterBeam, GoDigital Telecommunications, Hybrid Networks, P-Cube, Primarion, Vertical Networks, and Terraspring.

    Previously, Jim was Vice President of Intel where he was General Manager of the Personal Computer Enhancement Division. He came to Intel in 1989 when Intel acquired his communications company, Jupiter Technology, where he had been CEO since 1986. Prior to joining Intel, Jim held numerous business and technical positions during a seventeen-year career at Xerox Corporation, including Vice President of Systems Engineering, and Vice President and General Manager of the Network Systems Business Unit, and was responsible for the worldwide P&L of the Xerox Network business.

    Jim holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

  • Senior Software Developer

    The developer will be a senior member of WinBuyer’s future back-office systems development team. In this position, he will take part in the end-to-end development process, starting from analysis, going through design, coding, debugging and finally supporting the system launch and maintenance. As a senior team member, the developer will be required to assist and coach junior members of the team. The developer will work closely with the algorithms team and with the operational experts to implement the new system according to high software engineering standards. The job will require gaining a strong knowledge of the existing system as well as an understanding of the new system requirements. The developer will be required to be able to implement innovative algorithms used in WinBuyer’s systems to extract information from structured and unstructured data sources.

    The work will be primarily in C# and SQL, however, some infrastructure work will require familiarity with Java. Given the seniority requirements for this position, the candidate MUST have demonstrated capabilities with object oriented design, strong communication skills, and ability to work closely with other team members and interact with other departments in order to achieve the new system in a most effective way.
